Molly Ohainle, Ph.D.

she/her
Principal Investigator
Assistant Professor

I am enthusiastic about interactions between viruses and host cells and the myriad ways our genomes fight back against virus infection. I enjoy teaching, mentoring and training scientists in the Ohainle Lab and still enjoy doing experiments at the bench.

I am passionate about improving the process of science, I am learning about how science works and aim to push for improvements in the scientific institutions of which I, the Ohainle Lab and my trainees are a part of.

Interest outside of science:

Soccer, skiing, hiking, cooking, chasing my 3 kids around

If I wasn’t a Scientist I'd be...
